Booking

All tours must be booked and paid for in advance. Walkup guests are ONLY allowed if you arrive 15 minutes to Tour’s start time and provided there is availability. If you are having any trouble booking online, please contact us at (646) 906-2477 and we can help plan your tour over the phone.

Confirmation

Confirmation is sent immediately after booking. Confirmation will contain a contact phone number, meeting place and time to meet. If you do not receive this email please first check your spam folder, or contact us at (646) 906-2477.

Refunds

We will issue a refund if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled tour start time.

Cancellations/Dates changes

Cancellations/Dates changes must be made more than 24 hours in advance of your tour. You can then reschedule “once” at no additional cost or fees. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour start time are considered no-shows and are not refundable.

Voucher Refunds

To get a refund from a voucher purchased through a 3rd party, you must cancel at least a week in advance and contact your 3rd party seller for a refund. 3rd party refunds are the sole responsibility of the 3rd party seller.

Private Tours

Our About Times Tours are also available as private tours.  Enjoy the same great tour with your friends, family or colleagues.  Call us directly to check availability and arrange your private tour at (646) 906-2477.

Weather

All tours are held rain or shine — unless the Weather forecast specifically warns of dangerous weather conditions. We recommend you check the local NYC weather forecast to help you choose your comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate garments. You might want to bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast.

Safety

We expect a safe and enjoyable tour experience. However, you are ultimately responsible for you and your children’s safety.

Gratuities

Tours do not include gratuities for your Licensed Tour Guide. Most guide books and American Express suggest 15-20% of the full tour price.

Pets

Pets and guide dogs are not allowed on any of our tours. As much as we love them, other guests might have potential allergies.
